Top Five Reasons Why You Should Choose To Go To College
by prab falardeau - Monday, 12 May 2008, 06:55 PM
Anyone in the world
By Chris Stout Life is about opportunities and options. The more opportunities you create for yourself in life, the more options youll have at any given point in time. Gaining control of your options and opportunities is the key to personal and professional success. Simply put, if you want to become master of your own destiny, then you need to go to college. Here are the top five Reasons why should choose to go to college: 1. The undergraduate degree is the new high school diploma There was once a time when college was entirely optional. Even today, smart, hard working people can develop excellent careers and stable lives without the aid of a university education. College is by no means mandatory, but when youre ready to start building a career for yourself, you will increasingly discover that a college degree is a prerequisite for many entry-level employment opportunities. Companies and organizations want to hire employees who illustrate commitment and perseverance. A college degree will show your future employer that youre dedicated to achieving your goals in life. Whether its justified or not, a job applicant with a degree is going to be more valuable to an organization than an applicant who chose to forgo college. If you want to possess marketable job skills, higher wages and the stigma of being smart and qualified, then choosing college is the way to go. 2. College will satisfy and expand your curiosity If you possess a general curiosity about how and why the world works the way it does, then you owe it to yourself to attend college. Education is a personal project. If you want to develop your mental faculties and increase your knowledge base, then you have to college. If you feel that youve learned all you possibly can in high school, if you think that theres nothing else that you need to absorb, then dont go to college. If you have a passion for improved understanding, then college is mandatory. 3. College is a process of continual maturation College is freedom. When you attend college, you are free to live on your own, according to your own priorities. As you carve out your own custom tailored living and learning experience, you cant help but grow as a person. College is a time for self-improvement and development, so if you want to grow and mature as an individual, college is the perfect playground for self-progress. 4. College is all about networking In college, you have the unique ability to create life-long associations in a structured environment. Networking is important, but it can also be difficult. If you want to build relations with students and faculty members, you have to put forth effort. Unlike the real world, in college, its easy to combine your individual interests with supportive allies who subscribe to those same interests. Take advantage of this environment and build up relationships that will help you in the future. 5. College exposes you to things you would not normally experience When you set about choosing your path through life, its important to remember that finding yourself is as much a process of elimination as it is a process of discovery. Just as you seek out interests and identities, you need to rule out certain life-options and mental frameworks that you do not agree with. College exposes you to new risks, rewards, people, places, ideas, lifestyles, eating habits and career choices. Exposure is critical. You cant form a genuine opinion on something if youve never been exposed to it. College is a place for you to improve yourself, to satiate your curiosities, to mature, to network, and to be exposed to new things. College is an important, irreplaceable experience in life. Going to college is highly recommended. Review more industry related articles by Chris Stout at CareersandEducation.com. Preparation of the Marketing Campaign: The Marketing Mix
by prab falardeau - Sunday, 4 May 2008, 12:56 PM
Anyone in the world
By Javier Cristobal The marketing mix: what and how to sell. A firm must standardize the marketing mix to produce cost savings and simplify logistics. The marketing mix consists of a set of strategy decisions made in the areas of product, promotion, pricing and distribution in order to satisfy the customers in a target market. International marketers must develop marketing strategies by assessing potential foreign markets and analyze the many alternative marketing mixes. Select target markets that the firm can serve at a profit Formulate combinations of tactics for product, price, promotion and distribution channels to serve those markets Try to standardize advertising campaigns, promotional materials, and sales training programs so the work has to be done only once. There is a gain in efficiency when the same strategy is used in all markets. Product Strategies: The product is the central focus of the marketing mix. If it fails to satisfy the needs of consumers, no amount of promotion, price cutting, or distribution will persuade them to buy. If the buyer is not satisfied from what you say in your promotions will not buy anymore. Look into global markets, then try to make a single product or service for all of them. Analyze the type of product: industrial, consumer, or services. Technical industrial products can be sold unchanged worldwide, for example transistors. Consumer goods require grater modifications to meet local market requirements and some can be sold unchanged to certain market segments (for example chocolate). Finally services are unchanged worldwide. The marketing of services is similar to the marketing of industrial products in that these products are easier to market globally. Service Master, American Express and Visa are examples of successful firms in global markets. On the next Training series we'll continue analyzing the other elements of the Marketing Mix and their associated strategies. http://www.iolenterprises.com/ebiznewsletter/index.html Javier Cristobal CEO IOL Enterprises Inc. http://www.iolenterprises.com Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Javier_Cristobal http://EzineArticles.com/?Preparation-of-the-Marketing-Campaign:-The-Marketing-Mix&id=136130 no credit check rehab loans paycheck tax calculator sorensens loanstil payday inc no credit check cell phone
Have It All With An Online Business Degree

By Amber C. Smith Online degrees have gained a lot of popularity over the last decade, especially for business professionals. By allowing you to do your work anytime without having to sit in a classroom, these programs have made it possible for full-time business professionals to go back to school easily. Traveling Professionals In the past, many business professionals were unable to get advanced degrees because they traveled so often. Online degrees allow these professionals to get a degree with ease. Since you may spend half of your week in airports, you need to be able to still take a class. With online classes, you can work from anywhere with your laptop and Internet access - the airport, a hotel, an airplane. Time Management The other great part about online degree programs is that the classes usually only run for about 6 weeks at a time. That way, if you have a big project coming up during one six-week time period, you can simply not take a class then and focus solely on work. You can more efficiently balance both school and work with online programs. School From Home Saturday mornings evenings are important times of the week for businesspeople. For once, we don't have to get up and commute into the office or spend the evening driving around. Online classes allow you to do your work from home and meet with your classmates and teacher virtually. You can save time and money by taking a class online. Get A Free Degree Many companies are more likely to pay for employees' degrees if they take classes online. Sometimes schools can actually work out a bargain with online universities so that their employees get lower tuition rates and other discounts. Why Get an Online Degree? What To Do When You Are Sunburned

By Jeanette Pollock Even if you tan well, there is likely at least one time throughout the tanning season that you will get burned. Perhaps it will be the first time you get out in the sun or it may be the time that you simply forget to lather on any moisturizing tanning lotion. No matter if you are fair or dark, you will need to know how to deal with a bad sunburn. Check out these great remedies that can help you get through the pain and on to the tanning. The best thing you can do for a sun burn is stay out of the sun until it heals. If you must go back in the sun, be sure to wear tons of sunscreen and clothes that cover the areas of the burn. In addition to this however, you should first lather on plenty of aloe based gel onto your sunburned areas. You can get this green gel in most drug stores. You can also use a large aloe plant to get your own gel out and use the most natural forms of the plant. Another great way to treat a sun burn is with vinegar. Your grandmother likely did this to you when you were a child in fact. You can rub white cooking vinegar onto your reddened skin and leave it overnight. Of course this method does not smell the best, so doing it at night and then showering the next morning is often the best idea. Remember, no one likes to get sunburned, so try your best to avoid it. Healing can be quite a process and might not leave you feeling all that comfortable either! Jeanette Pollock is a freelance author and website owner of skincare-101.com. Natural Algae Fighters That Work
by prab falardeau - Sunday, 27 April 2008, 02:14 AM
Anyone in the world
By Mark Washburn When the warm weather of summer finally arrives most pond owners are faced with a very common problem called pond algae. Pond algae can strike any size pond at any time, but usually a few very specific things have to be present for it to spread rapidly. Knowing what allows algae to prosper is the first step to treating it naturally. First though, let's make one thing clear. Algae, or it's presence in a pond is not always bad. A little bit of it here or there is actually a positive sign that the pond is healthy and balanced. When algae takes over the pond entirely however, things are not very balanced at all. Algae is very dependent on excessive nutrients in the water to grow. Therefore this should be your first priority...to reduce or eliminate excess nutrients in the pond. These can come from decomposing organic matter like leaves or grass clippings. Nutrients can also come for fish waste or decomposing fish food. With these things in mind, it's best to remove any organic matter from the pond before it starts to decay at the bottom. Skimmers can help with this in smaller ponds. Also, if you have fish, be sure to not overstock them in a smaller pond. Generally 1 inch of fish needs about 10 gallons of water to stay balanced. If your ratio is over this, you may be overstocked. Be sure to not overfeed your fish as well. Provide them enough food to consume in about five minutes time. Pond algae also needs adequate sunlight to grow aggressively so if you can minimize exposure to the sun, this can often help. In some cases, you can't always keep sunlight from entering the pond or keep all the debris from settling in it. Then it's often best to turn to other treatments or options. In smaller ponds adding plants is a very beneficial thing to do. Surface plants like water lilies help absorb excess nutrients and also help shade the pond. Water grasses are great at helping clear a pond as well. Since it can take up to 60% coverage of a pond's surface to keep algae at bay, some people like to also use a natural beneficial bacteria product to help consume some of the excess nutrients and assist in the breakdown of organic matter in the pond. Bacteria and enzyme products have been proven to be one of the safest and most effective ways to keep a pond clean. There are many varieties available on the market today. All of the methods outlined above are highly preferred over using chemicals in a pond or water garden. Chemicals come with inherent risks and also don't help much in cleaning a pond in a natural fashion. Over the long term they can cause many more problems than then solve. Crafting Your Own Magical Spells
by prab falardeau - Monday, 21 April 2008, 03:59 AM
Anyone in the world
By Carol Woods Magical spells can consist of only words, but most witches prefer to include an item or two that they can physically manipulate while casting a spell. Including something you can touch in a spell helps focus your intention and creates a powerful symbol of the thing you are trying to bring about. Physical symbols, when properly loaded during spell casting, can become a kind of stand-alone intention. I believe a properly put together spell can infuse mundane objects with power and that those objects can hold your intention long after you've moved on to other concerns. Such an object can help reinforce your spell's power every time you see it, or it can be put away out of sight and allowed to work its magic the way a planted seed does. Each spell is a unique thing and each one requires it's own special combination of ingredients. For instance, if I felt the need to cast a spell of good luck for myself, the ingredients could vary depending on the situation or the type of spirits I felt needed to be contacted to enhance the spell. Creating a spell is a lot like an art form; you draw words and intent from your heart, combine them with a few specific objects, and create something that is more than a sum of it parts. After you start to practice witchcraft regularly, you'll find gifts from the natural world presented to you all the time. They probably were being offered to you all along, but you just didn't realize what they were for. The feathers, stones, seeds, bits of fur, and other presents that you'll find are meant to be the ingredients of your magical spells. After a while, you'll need a place to keep them all and I suggest that you make and stock your own magical medicine cabinet with them. Finding and Stocking Your Magical Medicine Cabinet A spell could be centered on a pebble you found while walking on a beach or a seed from a particularly delicious apple you enjoyed one autumn and, if you're like me, you've probably collected dozens of these small treasures. It will benefit your spell crafting if these ingredients are kept together and any type of cabinet or chest will work, but I prefer one made of wood or other natural materials that can be hung on a wall. You might be able to find something suitable at a store that sells house wares, a large spice or jewelry cabinet with drawers and doors for example. Because many of the items you'll be storing there will be small, you'll need some boxes and bags to help keep them all organized. If you know how to sew or crochet, small bags are easy to make and you can make them exactly the right size for your cabinet. Another way to keep things contained is to wrap them in a piece of cloth. Because they're made of one hundred percent cotton, I keep several big red bandanas around for that purpose. Along with your natural or "found" ingredients, it's a good idea to stock your cabinet with a few "created" items, too. For instance, some cotton thread, cotton or wool yarn, small squares of paper, and beads make very nice additions to spells. Thread and yarn can be used for physical and magical binding, paper can be used to write names or intentions on, and a bead in just the right color can add a little extra spice to a spell. Trusting Your Intuition I believe that a witch is formed by nature and forms nature in return with her spells, and only when she opens completely to receiving what nature offers can she truly be shaped into the witch she is meant to be. Our spells are our medicine for the ills of the world, and nature lovingly provides us with all the ingredients we need for them. After a while, nature will provide you with all sorts of interesting things to tuck away in your cabinet. If you have been thankful for each one and carefully tucked it away in your magical medicine cabinet, when you need to create a spell the ingredients for it may instantly pop into your mind, making the process of forming a spell nearly as magical as the spell itself. If the ingredients you need for your spell don't come into your mind right away, another good way to let your intuition guide you is to clear your mind, open your cabinet, run your hands over the boxes, open drawers, look inside bags, and let yourself hear, feel, or see what is needed. This is different from "thinking" about what you need and feels a little like discovering all your treasures again. Even though you really already know about everything that's there, some things will seem "different" or "new" or will seem to stand out is some way, and that's a hint from your intuition that that object will work for your spell. Casting Your Spell Traditions vary so much, and witches themselves vary so much, that I'm not going to be able to tell you how to put a spell together so that it works for you. I can, however, tell you what works for me in a general way. I understand that casting a spell means that I do have to "cast" it or send it out into the world to do its work. The spell has my intention attached to it and I have to let go of it and trust it to work somehow. Letting go can be very hard. After all, if I feel the need for a spell, then something is concerning me and it's hard to let go of that concern. But spells are like butterflies, you can't keep them in a box, you have to let them go. You have to trust that your butterfly will flutter where it needs to go, so once I cast a spell I try not to think about it anymore. When casting spells for healing, I'm very inclined to "tie knots." For spells meant to influence an outcome, I usually sing some part of them from my heart chakra. I discovered these working styles through practice, experimentation, and by listening to my intuition. You can do the same because as a witch, this is what you're meant to do. Carol Woods is an earth witch who works with Gaia, Animal Spirits and Spirits of the Earth. Nasal Spray-Heroin For the Common Man
by prab falardeau - Sunday, 20 April 2008, 06:33 AM
Anyone in the world

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Jimmy_Jones] Jimmy Jones Before an intervention is called, I will go ahead and openly admit that I have a problem. I am addicted to over the counter nasal spray. Not because I have a killer sinus problem but because every time I fall off the wagon, the congestion returns with vengeance, blocking my nasal passages, stifling my sleep, and overall, decreasing my quality of life. Summarizing from last weeks Greys Anatomy, the medical term of my condition is Rhinitis Medicamentosa. This is quite different from Allergic Rhinitis for the onset of the condition is the continuous usage of OTC nasal sprays, as opposed to AR, which is a blockage of the nasal passage due to a common allergen. Most of OTC nasal sprays come in one of two different flavors; Oxymetazoline and Phenylepherine. Oxymetazoline is the most common active ingredient (as found in Afrin) while Phenylepherine comes in second (as found in 4-Way Nasal Spray).
My troubles started back in early May. I had begun an intensive weight training program and had been making good progress towards eliminating body fat while gaining muscle and strength. But coupled with my intense workouts, a tight schedule at work, a flurry of "oh **" home repairs, and ignoring my blood pressure medicine, I quickly found my head feeling like it was going to explode, and I was hospitalized soon thereafter. Slowly through the usage of a combination of drugs, my blood pressure came back down. But I started to realize another issue; I was still receiving headaches. Not the same headache that I had experienced earlier (frequent blood pressure checks confirmed this), but more of a sinus pressured pain. The intensity would originate from the top of the nose to around the eye-brow and would work its way throughout the top of my head. It was as if someone squeezing the top of my forehead. The pain always intensified after nasal spray usage, and would weaken as the day progressed. Usually the pain would wear off after a period of 12-13 hours. The congestion always persisted even after the headaches died down. This lead me to believe that the headaches were induced by the nasal spray. I finally broke down and purchased the Rhinostat titration system. The premise behind a titration system is that you utilize the substance as needed, and when the liquid reaches a certain point in the bottle, you add a dilutent to reduce the contents of the active ingredient. The Rhinostat system appeared to work fairly well in the beginning. The bottle is a peculiar design and didnt seem to penetrate my nasal passages the way a conventional nasal spray bottle did. The dosage of the decongestant is quite small, so if you find yourself frequently using your nasal spray, the Rhinostat system is going to become diluted quite quickly. Unfortunately the dilution of the system outpaced the withdrawal of my symptoms. In the end, I was left with a fully diluted solution and still a stuffy nose. In order to sleep, I relapsed. I have tried several decongestant products since the Rhinostat system, and all have failed to clear my passageways. Here are the products Ive tried in attempt to alleviate congestion (all of the products do not contain Oxymetazoline or Phenylepherine)
Sinusbuster
SnoreStop NasoSpray
Colloidal Silver Nasal Spray by Source Naturals
Sinus and Allergy Relief Nasal Spray by bioAllers
My Own Titration System Since I was unsuccessful in finding a solution that allowed me to sleep in peace, I decided to create my own titration system that I could control the dosages. Start with a full bottle of nasal spray and every time the fluid level reaches half, fill in the rest of the fluid level with Saline nose spray. BUT, not just any saline nasal spray. Dont go the cheap route on this; make sure that saline solution does not contain benzalkonium chloride (e.g. [http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.jsp?CATID=301459&navAction=jump&navCount=1&id=prod1068924] http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.jsp?CATID=301459&navAction=jump&navCount=1&id=prod1068924 ). Benzalkonium chloride has been shown to further increase the rebound effect. The Conclusion So far, I still get somewhat congested and I can feel my sinuses swell up from time to time, but I think the intensity is slowing diminishing. Ive heard that it takes 4-7 days to withdrawal cold-turkey, so utilizing a titration system I can reasonably expect double that time-frame before I can draw any real conclusions. I see an otolaryngologist (ear, nose, and throat specialist) tomorrow. While I am skeptical that hell have any real insight besides the standard "stop using the stuff!", Ill be sure to follow-up if he has any better solutions. Update (9/4/06 10:11pm) After further research, Ive discovered that some individuals have had success with a relatively new antihistamine called title=Astelin [http://www.astelin.com/ ] Astelin that doesnt contain any steroids, Oxymetazoline or Phenylepherine. My ear, nose and throat doctor was able to provide me a months sample. A word of warning, Astelin is extremely bitter and even with a big gulf of mouthwash, dont be suprised when the aftertaste remains. The substance has a sedative effect, and after a liberal dose, definitely made me sleepy. As a decongestant, it was mildly effective. My nasal passages opened up a bit, but by the time I had awakened in the morning, my stuffy nose had returned. Over usage of the medication only seemed to worsen my congestive issues. 3-4 pumps appeared to be the optimal dosage for effectiveness. The Power of Ice
by prab falardeau - Thursday, 17 April 2008, 02:10 AM
Anyone in the world

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Louise_Roach] Louise Roach Using ice to treat injuries is one of the oldest methods of pain control. Proven to be safe and effective at reducing swelling, relieving pain and decreasing muscle spasms, ice therapy is an easy self-care technique that anyone can administer. Every mother knows to put ice on a bruised knee after a soccer game or on a teething toddlers tender gums. But do you really know how ice works? Cold therapy, also known as cryotherapy, works on the principle of heat exchange. This occurs when you place a cooler object in direct contact with an object of warmer temperature, such as ice against skin. The cooler object will absorb the heat of the warmer object. Why is this important when it comes to cold therapy? After an injury, blood vessels that deliver oxygen and nutrients to cells are damaged. The cells around the injury increase their metabolism in an effort to consume more oxygen. When all of the oxygen is used up, the cells die. Also, the damaged blood vessels cannot remove waste. Blood cells and fluid seep into spaces around the muscle, resulting in swelling and bruising. When ice is applied, it lowers the temperature of the damaged tissue through heat exchange and constricts local blood vessels. This slows metabolism and the consumption of oxygen, therefore reducing the rate of cell damage and decreasing fluid build-up. Ice can also numb nerve endings. This stops the transfer of impulses to the brain that register as pain. Most therapists and doctors advise not to use heat right after an injury, as this will have the opposite effect of ice. Heat increases blood flow and relaxes muscles. Its good for easing tight muscles, but will only increase the pain and swelling of an injury by accelerating metabolism. When it comes to cooling devices, different effects will result due to the devices ability to exchange heat. Crushed ice packs do a better job at cooling the body than chemical or gel packs, because they last longer and are able to draw four times the amount of heat out of tissue. The important difference is that ice packs undergo phase change, allowing them to last longer at an even temperature, creating a more effective treatment. Most chemical or one-time-use packs and gel packs do not undergo phase change. They quickly loose their ability to transfer heat, limiting their effectiveness to reduce swelling. Their short duration of cold is not long enough to produce numbness, also reducing their ability to relieve pain. Cold therapy should always be used as soon as possible after an injury occurs and continued for the following 48 hours at 15 to 20 minute intervals. Remember if you hurt yourself, you need to ice! This information is not intended as a substitute for professional medical treatment or consultation. Always consult with your physician in the event of a serious injury. My Daughter's Love - From The Heart Of Jesus
by prab falardeau - Monday, 14 April 2008, 05:32 PM
Anyone in the world
By Cyndi Boyer In her quest to find ethnic diversity at what would be her home for the next four years, my daughter did extensive research on a small number of colleges, praying to find the perfect fit for her Christian beliefs, personality, and values. Growing up in a neighborhood where there was very little diversity, was an experience my daughter will forever cherish. Spending her childhood years being educated in school settings where she was the only one who looked completely different than her classmates, was truly an enlightening experience my daughter can never forget. In her home where she was taught to love, regardless of the ones skin color, is the life long lesson that proceedeth and poureth from the Word and Heart of God from me to my daughter. I am so thankful to God that He chose and entrusted me with the life of such a special daughter, truly a remarkable human being; one who has opened her heart to receive His love and His Wisdom, which is greater than anything I could ever imagine. In her search for what would be her home for the next four years, my daughter visited a college not far from our home which offered ethnic diversity, but very little. Upon her arrival and visitation to this school, she noticed how racially divided this school was; the environment that she found herself stuck in for the moment, created an unwelcoming environment; an environment that quickly turned her off and turned her away from a place she thought may potentially be a nurturing and welcoming haven for the next chapter in her young life; it was not to be. The students at this particular university were so divided that one group of colored students drank from the ice cold refreshing water fountain where the other group of colored students were told they could not. Upon my daughters return home from visiting this ungodly place, she immediately deleted this college from her list. She politely called the Dean of Admissions and withdrew her application and removed this heavy burden from her heart. If she was to continue learning all the lessons God has planned for her, she knew that she had to find a school that offered diversity and everything else she longed for. A racially divided school did not appeal to my daughter and most of all, it was unacceptable. My daughter was not used to congregating to just one group of students simply because they looked like her and she had no intentions of ever starting. She enjoyed being around a diverse group of young minds; she was challenged by her classmates and was a teacher to her friends teaching them life long lessons through her actions, conversations, gifts and abilities that would take them on a journey they could treasure for the rest of their lives. She taught her friends that not all people are the same and that people should not be judged because of how they look, where they live or how much money they have. This little old soul, my daughter, quickly became the principle focus in the lives of her classmates in and out of school. My daughters Christian conduct was important to her and she shared, in actions, her love for the Lord with her pattern of good works. As Titus Chapter 2, Verse 7 states, In all things showing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine showing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you. It was interesting and important for my daughter to see how her classmates lived; it was also very important for my daughter to share her life with her friends in a way that they would become like family. My daughter always took time to express her feelings and deep seeded thoughts to me and this was important to her. She spoke these words to me; why should she limit herself to learning all she could from the friends she had come to know and truly love and those she was preparing to meet. Why should she close the door to a lesson that she will never learn in a classroom. All the degrees in the world could not compare to the life lessons she has learned thus far, called experience. There has never been and never will be a degree that teaches us how to love, respect and honor those who look different than we do; that is a lesson that is learned as we live our life. My daughter refused to choose her friends based on the color of their skin. She refused to accept being separated because of her beautifully glowing permanent sun-tanned skin that God had graciously painted her body with. He choose the right color for her and of course, this gift from her Father was a gift that she so treasured because it was from Him. He was special to her and she knew that He loved her and she loved Him. She trusted Him to place her in a loving, nourishing Christian environment; a place where she would be accepted regardless of her amazing skin color. As my daughters college search continued, she found a college that welcomed her with opened arms. It had almost everything she was looking for. My daughter wholeheartedly reciprocated her invitation of acceptance and embraced this school with joy. They have closed arms with each other and are getting ready to journey on a relationship that will forever change my daughters life and my daughter, again, will in turn, touch every professor, student and staff member by her joyful presence and every gift God has equipped her with to be a blessing to someone else. My daughter has embraced the Word of God for her life. She has embraced Jesus, her Lord and Savior and walks in the light. She realizes and is sincerely so very thankful that Jesus is not like man. When Jesus walked upon this earthly land, He did amazing things that glorified His Father in Heaven. Jesus performed amazingly awesome miracles without thought to what people looked like; the lives He touched He touched because He loved, loves and He saved, and to this very day continues to save. Jesus is the Only One Who has the power to save and He saves regardless of the color of ones skin. Jesus never thought once or twice if someone looked different from Him or His disciples. Jesus heart was the cup that was filled with Gods love; love knows no skin color and Jesus loves us all. I love the Lord and His commandments live in my heart. I love to write sweet stories and poems. I am a self-taught graphic designer. Skin Care Products: What Haven't I Used?

Anyone in the world
By Danna Schneider Am I a Skin Care Product Junkie? Or Just too Much of a True Consumer to Settle on One Product? This is a personal story of the myriad of skin care products I've tried. Which products disappointed and which ones delivered. Furthermore, which skin care products over delivered? With the thousands of skin products on the market today, all promising to do one thing or another for your skin, from making you look 20 years old again to erasing acne in days, it's really tough to know when you're wasting your money. And yet, we all do it! Read on for a true skin care product junkie's confessions... Let's see, where to start. I guess we'll start with my latest little discovery. The home microdermabrasion kit. Now mind you, I've had the real thing done about two years ago for some old acne scarring still left over from my younger acne-ridden days and I absolutely loved the way it made my skin look and feel. Now, the home microdermabrasion kits claim that they can produce very similar results to the real aesthetician administered procedure. Not to disappoint you too quickly, but they cannot simulate this effect. They do work, and they do add a nice freshly scrubbed look to your face, and clean away a lot of dull dry skin to reveal newer skin, but they do not have the same dramatic effects as real microdermabrasion does. I will continue to use my home microderm kit though, because I like the fact that I can do it in the comfort of my own home, and for a fraction of the cost of the real office procedure. I also like the frequency it allows me to administer the treatment. There's no way I could afford the time to visit a doc's office once a week, nor would I want to squander that much money away! Now, onto another skin care product I've purchased and tried. I purchased Dr. Varon's liquid mild acid peel kit and tried it approximately ten times. This kit is another home system that advertises as an effective alternative to a popular dermatologist or aesthestician administered skin care treatment, the glycolic acid peel, only it is in a much more diluted version due to OTC regulation. After several uses, I examined my face several times, very closely mind you, and call me crazy, but I just didn't see any difference. The only thing I noticed was that my face got mildly irritated and seemed drier and to flake more. Perhaps this was the idea? My skin has always been a little sensitive, so maybe this is not a fair nor "accurate for all" assessment of the home facial peel, but my experience was less than impressive. But of course I will be trying it again - this time probably a higher end, online brand. Now, onto the next product. The next product I felt certain would take my crows feet away in seconds as shown in the persuasive infomercials I was so gullible to watch for twenty full minutes. The before and after live shots of a fifty- something woman applying this gel to her eyes were nothing short of miraculous! Barely able to contain my excitement for this new "fountain of youth" product, I picked up my phone and frantically dialed the Home Shopping Network number, anxiously awaiting my "special limited time price" since I had acted so fast. The shipment came in about four days. I opened the first package. Let me explain what this product was before I tell you how it worked. It was primarily made up of hyaluronic acid and another substance whose name escapes me now, but both of the primary ingredients were "skin swellers". What do I mean by skin swellers? Skin care product ingredients whose main purpose is to temporarily swell the skin out. The key word is "temporary" here. It did work, and it worked for about two hours, but to my dismay, when I looked in the mirror later on that day, all of my crows feet were just as deep and pronounced as they were before application. My miracle fountain of youth hopes were dashed to smitherines! How could I be so gullible? I promised myself I would never again purchase another pricy skin care product. Instead I would only limit myself to special visits to a cosmetic dermatologist or spa to get my "real" skin care treatments. After all, they were the only thing that worked, right? Well - no, not necessarily. I have had some good experiences, which I would like to share also - in another article perhaps? Just try to be as informed as possible about the ingredients in the skin care products you purchase. That's the moral of the story. Make sure they have some sort of real merit and therapeutic properties to them over the long haul, and are not just some sort of quick fix.
